Color gels and top coats have different curing requirements. Check the product before you begin.

Use a professional lamp suitable for the product. Wattage alone does not confirm compatibility. Chrome Powder is applied over cured gel; the powder itself is not cured.

- Creami GelsApply Creami in thin coats to build coverage while keeping sheer shades translucent.
- Cat Eye GelsUse a magnet to shape the reflection in uncured Cat Eye gel, then cure each layer.
- Metal Leaf GelsApply premixed Metal Leaf gel from its jar for all-over color or an accent.
- Glitter GelsChoose sheer sparkle or build a fuller look over a coordinating cured color.
- Shimmer GelsBrush Shimmer gel from its jar in thin coats for a soft glow or fine detail.
- Quartz GelsBuild Quartz’s milky, translucent color in thin layers; use detail colors for a stone-inspired design.
- Chrome PowderFollow BEMI’s seven-step Chrome Powder method, from the cured Ultra Shine surface to the sealed finish.

Can I use the same cure time for every top coat?
No. Ultra Shine uses 30–60 seconds in LED or 2 minutes in UV. Ultra Slick Matte uses 1 minute in LED or 2 minutes in UV. Ultra Matte is UV-only for 2 minutes.
Compare the top coatsWhy does the base color change a chrome finish?
The base contributes to the finished appearance. Compare your chosen powder over the intended cured gel color on a reference tip before starting the set.
BEMI Chrome Powder applicationWhere should I start if the result is uneven?
Check the product, preparation, layer thickness, lamp and curing schedule. For a sheer shade, compare the result with its intended coverage before adding more color. If cure is in doubt, stop before continuing.
Work through the application checksWhat should I send when asking for product help?
Include the product and shade, batch if available, base or enhancement, top coat, lamp model, cure times and the steps used. Clear photos of the product and result help us understand the question.
